AK Interactive Real Colors US Army Helicopter Colors contains three lacquer paints for American Army rotary-wing aircraft used from the 1960s onwards. Olive Drab FS 34087 covers the principal Vietnam-era finish, US Army Helo Drab FS 34031 represents the overall colour introduced in 1985, and Sand FS 30277 supports the temporary desert finish applied during the Gulf War. The set is intended for modellers working across Vietnam, Cold War and modern US Army helicopter subjects.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
