AK8269 supplies orange tufts at 2 mm high for colour-led groundwork rather than an attempt at ordinary grass. They can suggest strange scrub on an alien plain, pick up the glow of a painted lava feature, or add controlled orange notes around a fantasy figure. Used as repeated points across the composition, the colour offers a way to link rocks, debris and the model without repainting those elements.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
