Product overview
A six-jar 3rd Generation acrylic set from AK Interactive's Figure Series covering the Waffen-SS Oak Leaf, Palm Tree and Plane Tree patterns in their Autumn/Winter variants. The panel prints the uniform ladder — Waffen Fall/Winter Shadow (Brown Black), Waffen Fall/Winter Base (Waffen Brown Grey) and Waffen Fall/Winter Light (Reddish Grey) — and draws all three patterns separately, naming the spot colours that build each: Grim Brown, Waffen Brown and Light Brown. AK says the jars can be mixed further, as the shades could vary by origin. The panel is painted by Calvin Tan. One jar, AK11112 Grim Brown, is shared with the DOT 44 set. Six matt acrylics in 17 ml bottles.
Set contains (6 × 17 ml): AK11418 Waffen Fall/Winter Shadow (Brown Black), AK11416 Waffen Fall/Winter Base (Waffen Brown Grey), AK11017 Waffen Fall/Winter Light (Redish Grey), AK11112 Waffen Fall/Winter Dark Spots (Grim Brown), AK11417 Waffen Fall/Winter Brown Spots (Waffen Brown) and AK11100 Waffen Fall/Winter Light Brown Spots (Light Brown) — member names verbatim from AK's own list, including its "Redish" spelling
AK's printed ladder: shadow AK11418 → base AK11416 → light AK11017; AK11112, AK11417 and AK11100 are the spots, with the Oak Leaf, Palm Tree and Plane Tree patterns drawn separately and their constituent paints named
Brush-ready; for airbrush, thin with water or AK11500. Matt finish
Shares exactly one jar with the DOT 44 set AK11623: AK11112 Grim Brown. The seasonal counterpart is AK11626, the spring/summer set

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
