AK Interactive Signature Set – Josedavinci is the biggest box in the range's author series: eighteen 3rd Generation acrylics chosen by José David "Josedavinci", a professional painter since 2017 who paints box arts for major brands and teaches. This is a curated working palette rather than a themed one — his personal selection of the colours he considers indispensable for painting a wide variety of miniatures. The spread tells the story: skin tones and cork, yellows from ice to laser, reds running through wine to black-red, with a deep green, an anthracite grey and a deep blue to round it out.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
