A six-bottle 3rd Generation acrylic set from AK Interactive's Figure Series for French Army figures; AK's own text reaches back further, describing uniforms of various theatres during WWI and WW2 — AK's claim, and the honest bridge to the dedicated WWI French set. The panel prints three pairs rather than ladders: Green Uniform Base with Uniform Light (Canvas Tone) for the green uniform; Field Drab with Ocher Khaki for the second uniform scheme; and Dark Brown Leather (Burnt Umber) with Leather Scuffs (Mud Brown) for the leather jacket. Six matt acrylics in 17 ml bottles.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
