AK Interactive British Army Colors Africa Late 1942-43 is a four-bottle set of 3rd Generation acrylics for the desert window AK dates from the autumn of 1942 until the spring of 1943 in North Africa — the tightly bounded period that separates this box from every other British set in the range. The four colours are the camouflage colours AK lists as most commonly used on British vehicles in that theatre, and they also served the Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and other Commonwealth armies fighting the same campaign.

  • Set contains (4 × 17 ml): AK11377 Light Stone No.61, AK11381 Dark Olive Green PFI, AK11382 Desert Pink ZI, AK11028 S.C.C. No.14 Black (Smoke Black)
  • Matt finish throughout — no metallic or gloss member in the box

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
