Abteilung 502 Red Ochre / Light Rust is an artist oil developed for light rust and oxidised-metal effects. AK Interactive recommends it for metal structures, exhausts and vehicle components, either alone or combined with other rust tones for greater colour variation. The colour is also suitable for applying rust-coloured washes across vehicle surfaces. Its PY42 and PR101 pigment combination provides a warm iron-oxide tone, supported by the reduced-oil ABT502 formula for more matt finishes.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
