The converter is a closed frame: the base drops into a 100.2 x 50.2 mm pocket, about 0.1 mm clearance per side, and the frame adds roughly 10 mm at each end and 5 mm along each side. Each converter is an in-house design, FDM 3D-printed to order in black PLA in Derby, UK, and part of the Open Basing System range.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eClosed 120 x 60 mm frame, 6 mm high, with a recessed pocket on all four sides and a bevelled outer edge.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe base sits on a 1 mm floor with an 82 x 37 mm central window, so there may be a small step at the ends; basing material hides it.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNo glue needed: the base simply sits in the converter and lifts out again.
